Mills General is a Washington state licensed general contractor. We provide Excavation and Civil Construction services to the commercial, residential and government sectors. We focus on building relationships with local subcontractors to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost are held in the highest regard and Continuous Improvement is embedded in all project phases.

Our team has over 20 years of experience executing successful projects throughout Alaska, Washington, Colorado and Texas working in the Heavy Civil, Commercial, Private and Government construction.
About our Founders...
I started working for a heavy civil construction contractor in Kodiak, Alaska when I was 15 years old....my first job was to cut a pile of rusty steel beams with an oxy acetylene torch.... in the mud..... and the rain. Over the last 25 years I've managed and executed multi-million dollar Oil & Gas facility outages in Prudhoe Bay, built highways and installed underground utilities in Anchorage, bridges in Colorado, pipelines and oil wells in North Dakota, and facility and asset management systems in Texas. Throughout all of that what I really wanted to build was my own company.
In 2017 we cashed in our chips and returned to Washington to start our own business...To build a company that will provide good jobs for our community and attract the best tradesmen and that we can someday leave to our kids.
